Smoothies
If
you feel like a refreshing cool drink, why not try one of our
fresh fruit juices or delicious smoothies? A simple carrot juice
may be all you are looking for or something a little spicier
such as carrot, chilli, pineapple lime and coriander. We change
our juice menu regularly and would be happy to make any of your
favourites. All juices and smoothies are freshly made to order
and can be enjoyed either at bean or take away. |

Ice
cream Sundaes
Do
you remember Knickerbocker glories? How long has it been since
you had a banana split? At bean you will find a huge selection
of sundaes ranging from the traditional to the very unusual.
The
Knickerbocker Glory is an elaborate ice cream sundae which was
first described in the 1930s and contains ice cream, fruit and
cream. Layers of these different sweet tastes are alternated
in a tall glass and are topped with kinds of syrup, nuts and
whipped cream.
You
can also choose from delicious desserts such as lemon meringue
yoghurt sundae, white praline and cream, fresh strawberry sundae
and of course the old favourites like peach melba or a banana
split. Whether you feel like a humble cone or an elaborate sundae
you will find something for everyone at bean. All ice cream
can be eat in or take away. |
Milkshakes
As
well as all of the above, we sell a wide range of milkshakes
and old fashioned sodas. Choose from flavours such as pink guava,
mango, banana, snickers, mini eggs, strawberry and chocolate
milkshakes or how about a Coke Float?
There
is a large comfortable seating area upstairs where you can enjoy
your treats while reading the paper or admiring the art displayed
on the walls. We are currently exhibiting the work of Yvette
Acason and Andy Acason. |

We
support the Medical
foundation and have used our space to exhibit art and photographs
which, when sold will directly contribute towards the foundation
that supports victims of torture. |
If
we've missed out any of your favourites, let us know and we'll
add them to our menu! We look forward to seeing you at bean |
